Most of our customers have sandstone patio tiles outside of their homes because this hardy stone doesn’t etch and fade in the sun. These are relatively easy to wash with jet washers because, unlike indoor floors, the garden area is a great space for splashing around in the summer.
But sometimes black spot and moss can grow between the tough porous sand particles, making it very difficult to remove, even with a jet-wash. This is why we you need to contact a sandstone patio cleaning specialist to clean that stubborn blackspot off your pavers. We have the right tools to remove weeds, moss and black spot from all types of paving tiles, whether it be sandstone or ceramic. What’s more is, we don’t use a jet-wash, so your grout will remain safely intact during the patio cleaning service.
But what about indoor sandstone tiles?
With all of our stone cleaning methods, whether indoors or outdoors, we use a heavy duty rotary scrubbing machine and a strong wet-vacuum system to extract the cleaning solution as soon as the floor is cleaned and rinsed. There’s no splashing at all. This is the most effective method for cleaning all sandstone tiles and we use the same method for all types of floors. Our methods are neat and tidy, leaving your home beautiful at the end of each day.
Another reason we don’t use a jet-wash to clean stone, is because the pressure of water that most patio-cleaners use on sandstone will eventually erode the surface of the sandstone and reveal more holes that could provide a safe haven for lichen and moss growth. This would make it even more challenging to clean in the future.
If we ever do use a jet-wash outside, it’s simply to rinse organic soil and leaves off the patio before our cleaning begins.
